Tata Play porting means switching your existing DTH connection to Tata Play. The process involves installing a new Tata Play HD set-top box, realigning your existing dish or installing a new one if needed, and activating a new Tata Play subscription. The whole process takes 1–2 hours.
Yes, in most cases your existing dish can be reused after realignment. Our technician assesses the dish condition on-site and realigns or replaces it as needed. The HD Porting plan at ₹2,890 covers dish assessment and realignment at no extra charge.
The complete porting process takes 1–2 hours from when the technician arrives. Book before 4 PM for same-day porting in Tamil Nadu.
Your existing DTH subscription will stop when you stop recharging it. Your new Tata Play connection starts fresh with whatever plan you choose. The HD Porting plan includes 1 month free subscription to get you started.
If you already have a dish: ₹2,890 for the HD Porting plan. If you need a completely new setup: ₹3,390 for the HD Dhamaka plan which includes a new dish, box, cable, and ₹3,600 recharge balance. Installation is free in both cases.
